BBQ: There is a weber gas grill for use, no outdoor charcoal BBQ fires allowed
Driving: There is a strict 10 MPH speed limit inside the gate. Drive slow and be courteous to kids and dogs
Electrical: Circuit breakers are located on the kitchen wall
Food: Stores, gas and food are available in Pescadero. Gas station is open until 10:00 PM
Fires: No outside fires allowed.
Garbage: All garbage must be bagged. There is a can in kitchen patio, and a trash shed at bottom of the stairs.
Heat: There is a gas floor furnace, watch that kids don’t crawl on the hot surface. There is a small electric space heater in the bathroom, It can be plugged inside the cabinet. Turn off when done.
Internet: The WIFI password is Dansnetwork123
Laundry: Please limit washing to 1-2 loads a week, so the septic tank is not overloaded. There is usually detergent at the wash machine.
Noise: No bass sub woofers allowed. There are neighbors, quiet time hours are between 10 pm and 8 am.
Parking: Refer to house plot map below.
Plumbing: The cabin is on a septic tank, please flush only toilet paper, nothing else.
Smoking: No smoking or vaping allowed in the house. There are ashtrays on the porch and patio that can be used if the windows to the house are shut. Make sure any outdoor smoking devices are extinguished. We have high fire risk here.
Toilet: Plumbing is on a septic tank, no flushing anything, except toilet paper only, no wipes, no flushable wipes, no condoms, and no sanitary products.
TV: there is roku wifi to stream your own streaming services Netflix, HBO
Water: Butano water is purified and excellent quality. OK to drink.
Winter: Storms hit us hard sometimes. Access is restricted, Roads get blocked with trees, Power outages are common. There are always a lot of people willing to help if trees are down. Your cabin has gas hot water and heat, which will work when the power is out. There are flashlights in the kitchen cabinets. Please stay indoors during wind storms.
Wood Stove: If you do not know how to use a wood stove, do not try! Use the propane furnace. If you do know how to use a wood stove, there is some firewood outside. No chopping wood on the bricks inside house. Always shut the stove doors or put the screen on the front. Never leave wood stove open, burning embers will fall out.

House Rules
No outside noise after 9pm. No loud sub-woofers allowed.
No parties allowed.
At the end of your stay, we ask that you wash all dishes, pots and pans used during your visit. If there is no time, please load the dishwasher before leaving. Towels and linens can be piled on the floor. Leave a note for anything broken, missing or suggestions. It is okay to leave food in the fridge. We will re-cycle what can be used. Thanks for visiting!
